(7) Select a stigmatized kink interest, activity, or identity that you are not very knowledgeable about. Describe at least three ways that someone could interpret aspects of this kink from an ethnocentric/outsider perspective. Then locate a few personal accounts by practitioners who enjoy this kink from blogs, podcasts, articles, or academic studies. Throughout, describe some experiences and meanings expressed from the standpoint of participants. Conclude the strengths of utilizing grounded theory methods in order to better understand this kink, and how it can address limitations, misconceptions, and other problems attributed to ethnocentricism.
