PRESENTATION ON APPLYING THEORIES OF LEARNING AND MOTIVATION

 

One of the most rewarding and exciting things about completing this program is the potential you will have to change the future of the field of education. Because you have completed advanced research and training, you can be an agent of change in the area. You will seek to solve problems facing the field of education and identify paths to excellence through new ideas, theories, tools, and techniques in teaching and learning. The resources and discussions throughout this class, particularly in Module 4, have given you fodder for ideas on some pressing topics and debates in the field today. This final presentation provides you with the opportunity to put it all together. You will envision that you are in a new position in the field and craft your vision for the future of education at that organization.

Write on motivation and learning theories paper based on the following scenarios using theories of learning and motivation strategies in which you have been your boss or department chair to present your plan for addressing this challenge in an original, research-based way.

 

Scenario: You are starting a new position as an online college professor in educational psychology. You have been charged with creating a recent lecture/seminar on revolutionary ideas in adult learning and distance education. Write a learning theory and motivation bloom taxonomy and a captivating presentation in which you provide a detailed overview of your plan to address the challenge in your selected scenario. Refer to relevant research-based best practices, share examples, and create artifacts (e.g., assessment, sample syllabus, or activity) to support your plan.
